Need: A consulting company specializing in the automotive field sought improved call handling techniques to optimize customer relationships.

Solution: Norlight Professional Services developed a custom Windows^® application that interacts with Norlight's hosted IP telephony service. On incoming calls, the software opens a window for the employee to view information indentifying the caller. Most importantly, if the caller is identified as an existing customer the employee can access additional information about the caller from their third party CRM database by using a button within the window. The use of this software improves call handling, reduces caller wait times, and leads to more useful communications.
